Joey Kramer is the latest rocker to get his own iPhone app. Hit Hard -- named after the Aerosmith drummer's autobiography, which came out last year -- gives fans the options of competing with each other to repeat his drum beats, or of leaving the competition behind and just playing.

Topping this week's Hot Tours tally is Grammy-winning group Black Eyed Peas with reported box office totals from seven U.S. dates on the band's E.N.D. World Tour. Promoted by Concerts West/AEG Live, the tour's 2010 schedule kicked off in Atlanta at Philips Arena on Feb. 4, followed by stops in Miami, Jacksonville, Tampa, Nashville, Birmingham and Columbus. Grosses from these U.S. markets total just over $5 million, but more than $13.5 million in ticket sales have been reported since the tour began last fall.

There are ways to fill Madison Square Garden with just a great voice and instruments, but Muse was all about massive spectacle as it headlined the famous New York arena on Friday (March 5). If it wasn't dazzling excess -- from ascending video platforms and bloody eyeball balloons to piercing green lights worthy of Laser Pink Floyd -- Muse wasn't interested.

Taking its moves from equal parts Queen, Floyd, Nine Inch Nails, Rage Against The Machine, and even a note or two of Led Zeppelin, the British trio stormed the Garden with an intricate industrial stage setup, most of the soaring-yet-angular dystopian tunes from its 2009 smash, "The Resistance," and a throbbing pit of fist-pumping fans.

Legendary techno producer and dj Richie Hawtin has a habit of merging concepts and new technology to push the evolution of music making and performing further into the future. Hawtin established the +8 record label back in the late 80’s which was largely responsible for defining the sound of techno music for two decades to come. His recording work under the moniker of Plastikman explored the minimal end of techno long before it became the most fashionable sound of the genre. Hawtin also has a reputation for crafting some of the most intensive sound and visual events to showcase his djing skills and the stable of artists who belong to the label.

Kings Of Leon Set For Summer Amphitheater Tour

Kings of Leon has just announced they will be hitting amphitheaters from coast to coast this summer. The tour, which runs June 5 to Sept. 23, begins in Atlantic City with three East Coast dates before the band heads to Tennessee to headline at Bonnaroo. The trek then picks up in July for a run through the warm months. The most recent album from the Followill boys, "Only by the Night," spawned three Grammy wins this January: Record of the Year, Best Rock Performance By A Duo Or Group, and Best Rock Song. Since its 2008 release, "Only by the Night" has sold a commanding 1,847,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
